The best way to see if a shade really works is to apply it to your lips.

Always apply lip colour with your mouth open.
Apply lip colour in short, light strokes starting at the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to the outer edges of your lips, following the contours of your mouth.
Follow the same application technique for your lower lip.
Close lips gently and press together to blend.

Tip 1: Never let your eyes and lips compete for attention. A general rule of thumb is if you’re wearing a strong eye, apply a subtle lip colour and vice versa.

Tip 2: To give your lips a more stained look, apply your lip colour and then blot it off and dab with your fingertip.

Tip 3: To keep lip colour off your teeth, once your have applied lip colour, put your index finger into your mouth and pull it out. The excess will come off on your finger.

Tip 4: Use beautycycle™ colour lasting lip colour as a crème blush, either in place of powder blush or as a highlight. To add an extra pop of colour to cheeks, apply lip colour first and follow with a light dusting of beautycycle colour blush.
